Fifteen minutes of fame

I checked the mailbox today, as most people do, expecting to find not much more than the usual bills and local government notices. Instead, I found a copy of Australian Patchwork & Quilting, with my name on the cover!

My floral redwork quilt is in their showcase special edition. I knew it had been photographed for the magazine, but I had not got around to asking which issue they planned to put it in. For that reason, it was all the more surprising (and exciting) to see it already in print.

My Colouring Book Quilt was featured in Australian Patchwork & Quilting, volume 22, number 1. Granny Maud's Girl

I called my redwork quilt the ‘Colouring Book Quilt’ as many of the floral designs were taken from colouring books

Look out for Australian Patchwork & Quilting, volume 22, number 1. I guess it must be in stores soon if I have already received a copy in the mail.
